The locking mechanism is pre adjusted at our factory, but we’re not perfect. Also, it’s possible that over an extended period of time a slight adjustment may be necessary.
While holding the lever in the “locked position” use a screwdriver to slightly turn the reverse-threaded screw counterclockwise to tighten (or clockwise to loosen) the lock tension. The Inner pole should move freely when the lever is in “unlocked position”. The Inner pole should not slip when the lever is in the “locked position”.
